About
At Prismatic Planet, we want to spread an understanding of the world around us. In search of this understanding, we want to instill a feeling of hope in the work that humans can do to grasp and respect all that this world offers us.
We want to explore this planet together, discussing its many environments, the ecosystems that make them up, and how the vast number of species interact within to create systems that support life. We want humans to know what that plant is, why that water flows, and how that animal survives. We want humanity to feel a part of this world, not merely a tenant on a lease.
That's all a very long way of saying we really like ecology. There's so much to learn from our surroundings, and understanding what this world offers us can help us realize what it is we can lose if we don't know and respect our environment. To us, knowing really is half the battle. Once humans know, we're comfortable to take action. We want to help with learning part and provide paths to action.
So, let's learn together, hope together, and help each other to become the best environmental citizens we can be!
